London's Local Handyman is a network platform connecting clients with skilled independent tradespeople across inner London. We act as an introducer — not a direct employer — matching the right tradesperson to your job based on availability, location and skill set.
Through our network we facilitate the following types of work:
All work is by vetted self-employed tradespeople within our network. The scope and nature of each job is agreed directly between the client and the tradesperson before work begins.
Our standard rates are:
All prices exclude materials and parts unless otherwise agreed. For decorating, fit-out and larger projects a fixed quote will be provided following a free site visit or photo review. Prices are subject to change. Emergency rates may vary.
Quotes provided via WhatsApp or on site are estimates based on the information available at the time. For hourly jobs the final price depends on time taken plus any materials required. We will always inform you before undertaking any work that would increase the cost beyond the original estimate. No additional work will be carried out without your agreement.
Payment is due on completion of work. We send a secure Stripe payment link via WhatsApp on job completion — payable by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Invoices must be settled within 7 days. Late payment may incur an administration charge. We do not store card details.
We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked job. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a charge to cover the tradesperson's lost time. Emergency callouts cancelled after a tradesperson has been dispatched will be charged at the minimum callout rate.
London's Local Handyman operates as a network of skilled independent tradespeople. All work is carried out by self-employed contractors who hold their own public liability insurance. London's Local Handyman acts as an introducer and accepts limited liability accordingly.

All tradespeople within the London's Local Handyman network are required to hold valid public liability insurance as a condition of working with us. Clients may request confirmation of a tradesperson's insurance coverage before work begins.
Clients are advised to ensure appropriate home or contents insurance is in place for larger works.
If you are unhappy with any work carried out please contact us within 48 hours of job completion via WhatsApp or email at contact@londonslocalhandyman.co.uk. We will work with you and the tradesperson to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at londonslocalhandyman.co.uk/terms. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
